I scrapped tonight!

I realized that I still had time to get a submission in for the Thickers challenger over on the American Crafts blog... so I did.

Being domestic

I had quite the domestic day today! :)

I slept in a little and had my morning coffee while checking out SIStv and Facebook and catch up on a few blogs.

 Then I cleaned my stove and mopped the kitchen! Woohoo! :) Love it when it's all clean.

And then Bang Dade was going to drop off the cable to his printer (which he's lending me for now) and I offered to make lunch since it was that time and we both hadn't eaten.

So I made bakwan udang (prawn fritters) and mie goreng (fried noodles)... yum! Made enough to take with me to lunch on Monday too! :)



Went to mass at 5pm and then stopped by to check out Priza's new apartment after that. It was a pretty cool place. All the plain white walls he's got has me itching to decorate and put up pictures, canvases and all for him! LOL!

Then it's Grey's night and I even scrapped a layout!

Angie posted a game on SIS called You Lift Me Up - basically each person who plays is given a random set of numbers by the person before and then when you take that, you leave a set if numbers for the person after too! So it's pretty much a scrap lift game but it's exactly what I needed to kickstart my scrapping again. I just find that I'm having a bit of a problem getting into it lately... so this was perfect.

Don't fight the weather....

Today is Jay's birthday.. and he rang me at 1am this morning. He's really frustrated with his work and life in Slovakia right now and he just needed to vent. He mentioned that he was feeling better after talking to me.

I'm glad that he finds comfort in talking to me even when we're so far away from each other.

I woke up this morning feeling sad for him.. that he's feeling unhappy. And I couldn't help the sadness especially because it's his birthday and him being so far away from family and friends. I find that I kept lifting him up in prayer throughout today - that he'd find a solution to his problem and that God will bless and guide him always. I do hope that he'd at least have a stress free birthday and that he'd get some rest, even if there's no celebration.



It's supposedly still the Kiwi summer... but the weather's definitely turned! It was quite cold last week and I find that there's no point fighting it.... I just need to dress for autumn now.... saying that, today's been pretty lovely with no need for a jacket. But I still had tights on!



On to scrappy news - Mojo's been missing for me... for a while now.... don't know where it's gone, so if you see it, please send it home to me ok??? Since I just couldn't really get into scrapping, I spent Saturday night just playing with paint and stamps and did a few art journal pages.







Well, that's about it for now... Just crazy frustrated with my printer.. it's playing up! Ugh! I need to call the Epson helpdesk tomorrow and see if they can shed some light on this matter. The weirdest thing is that there's no error messages or anything. It's killing me! I've got so many photos that I'm needing to print but I can't! arrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhh....

Oh well... Monday's pretty much almost over.. I'm off to bed early tonight since nothing's really going my way....

Woohoo! It's Friday again! :D The weeks are just flying by!!!

Work's pretty easy going today thankfully.. went to the Warehouse with Dhani, Lia and Bang Dade after work.... bought 2 mini book shelves (3 tier) for only $15 each! Score!!! Planning to rearrange my room a bit this weekend - hopefully I've got enough time.. want to scrap too! And tomorrow night I've got a pot luck dinner at Lia's place and I've promised her mom that I'd make Hainanese Chicken Rice... thankfully it's easy enough.. just need to go get chicken tomorrow :D

This is my brother and my new sister-in-law on their wedding day! :D Aren't they cute together??

Well, I was intending to scrap and play with paint a bit tonight, but i'm just too tired to stay up late, so I'm off to bed and I'm planning to get up early tomorrow to get in a bit of creative play time before i start rearranging my room and cooking! :D

I am itching to create... to scrap.. to get down and dirty with paint... alas.. I'm stuck here at work for another 6 hours! :(

I scrapped my first 12x12 layout (in a lonnnnnnnnnngggggg time) last night! :D Something simple... still trying to get the hang of things again.. it's been a while since I scrapped.. so it kinda feels new to me all over again. Will post it when I get it scanned tonight.

I enrolled in a mixed media art class which is going to start next Saturday. It's only 4 weeks long and 3.5 hours each session. I'm really excited to start the class... it's something I've been wanting to learn for a while now, but could never really find a class. This time, I'm seizing the opportunity to learn. I'm still waiting for a list of supplies needed for the class to be emailed to me... so impatient! LOL!

Oh yeah... I've created draft posts over the past few months etc.. just that I never got around to filling them up with my stories and photos etc.. so don't be surprised when you see posts appearing between my last one dated 3 February and my post today. :D

Oh... and I've just figured out scheduled posting. Like a few minutes ago. After blogging for a couple of years... yeah.... pretty slow of me.
