I altered this lunchbox to keep track of my supplies - I am trying to make space by taking stuff out of their packaging and let's face it... My memory is not as good as it used to be! :D So I sort out samples by product & manufacturer on white cardstock. This way I can always credit the manufacturers properly.

A layout I did of my cutie pie cousin, Daniel. He's just adorable! I haven't actually met him (I will in 5 days time!)... so I've only got a few photos of him. I am sure that I'll be taking lots of photos of him when I go home this coming weekend.

Been busy...

I've been sooooo busy with work,work Christmas function, laundry, friend's graduation, Christmas shopping, present wrapping, Dream Street manufacturer album & DT call, being sick and entertaining out of town friends - that I've just not have the energy to update my blog!

There's a lot to post.. but my internet connection is playing up at the moment.. so we'll see if I have the patience to upload photos...maybe tomorrow.

I've still not finished my Christmas shopping....although I've done most of it. Just need to pick up a few more pressies and I should be done.

On a positive note - my laundry pile has gone down a lot! :) Did 2 loads today... Hope to get at least one more done tomorrow.

Managed to get my entries in for the Dream Street manufacturer album & DT call on Pub Calls Blog. All the entries will be posted tomorrow.. I'm quite excited to see them. Will upload photos tomorrow since my internet is playing up at the moment and I need to go to bed soon.

Had a great day entertaining and hanging out with my friends yesterday. We had 2 friends who came up from Christchurch for the weekend. Met up with Kenny, Ari, Chiqa and Lala after lunch. Had a quick look around the shops on Lambton Quay and then we went off to Oriental Bay for gelato.. yum! Lies met up with us there too. After that we went off to Parade Cafe for a coffee.... had a great time laughing and joking and taking photos. Unfortunately the photos are all on Chiqa and Ari's cameras... I'll have to get them off those two.

We met up again for dinner at Monsoon Poon and the wait was excruciatingly long! 45 minutes for a table and at least another 30 minutes till we got our food! Usually I would be really annoyed and impatient but because we just had a great time talking and laughing and taking pictures.. I didn't mind the wait one bit.

After dinner, Jay left and we proceeded to Bowling Lounge. A really cool new bowling alley with pool tables.. a really classy bar and overall a really nice ambience. More laughs, more photos (really cool ones!) and some alcohol.

From there we went off to Tasting Room and had a few drinks... a LOT of laughs and we got to see a whole different side of Adri - totally funny and crazy!! We were all very surprised and loved it! After about an hour or so of crazy laughing.. we went off to GoGo bar... it was surprisingly quiet there.. well not totally quiet.. but not like how it usually is - jampacked to the extent that you only have a 1 feet radius space to dance in. It was great... a lot of dancing.. a little bit more alcohol.. a few photos.. a bit of a laugh.. and we were off.

We ended the night at CHA - had bubble tea and dumplings in chilli oil for supper. We were all dead tired but extremely happy by then. :) All in all.. a wonderful wonderful day!

Thanks for a great time my dearest friends - Adri, Ari, Kenny, Harridz, Chiqa, Lala and Lies. You guys ROCK!!!

Right.. I'm off to bed now. Will update with pics and layouts soon! Hopefully tomorrow if my internet connection co-operates!

I discovered 2peas. I found a great place to learn about scrapping - something that I've come to seriously love and cannot go by a day without.

I've met amazing people on 2Peas.. got a wealth of information.. 2Peas is a place where I've made great friendships.. learned about the latest and greatest in scrapping and also non-scrapping stuff. :D

I just can't imagine what my life would be without 2Peas - Shirley said that it would be more boring and less complicated! :D But what kind of life is that? Not a very fun one I'd say...

I know this post is backdated because I started drafting it on the 13th.... and I've not had time to update till now...

OMG!! I woke up to the coolest thing this morning. I went to the One Page At A Time website.. and popped in to the message board and saw that the LOTD for 6th December is up. I clicked on the thread to check out the 3 layouts (they choose 3 per day) and leave felicitations for the layouts chosen.

Never in my wildest dream did I expect to see my own face (my photo on my layout) staring back at me!!! Twice this week at OPAAT. Am I dreaming?? I am just soooo happy.



I hope and believe that this is the start to bigger and better things.. specially with all the DT try outs that I didn't make recently. :)

Right.. just a short one today. Off to wrap up the rest of my Secret Santa pressies so I can mail them off tomorrow. Thanks for peeking! :)

Twice in a week! Woohoo!!

This is a great week!! :) I've got layouts chosen for Layout of The Day twice this week!! :) First was the one at One Page At A Time. Second one.. I received an email yesterday from Jess at Scrap Galaxy that one of my layout has been chosen to be LOTD for 6 December. :) I didn't know which one till I saw it on their homepage.

This 12 x 16 canvas I altered is the one they chose! :D



Well.. not much going on apart from crazy days at work. Friday I'll be attending a farewell at the Indonesian embassy. The Defence Attache and his family are leaving. Going to miss Gana (the son)... he's a great guy.. great fun..Hope I'll get to meet him again sometime in the future.

Saturday is our work Christmas party. We've been invited to the bosses' house for pre-dinner drinks. They've just finished renovating their house recently.. and I'm really excited to see it. Everyone's being kept in the dark about the venue of our Christmas dinner... so it'll be fun to find out. Now just to figure out what to wear.

I can't believe that it's December already! Where has the year gone??!!!! Lots to share in this post.. so be warned.. it's a long one. LOL!

# I didn't make the Scrap Galaxy DT... but got invited to be Guest Designer next year. That's still pretty cool! :D

# My layout is featured in the ScrapStreet December e-zine. It's pretty cool to see my name in print.. well.. almost in print. :) It's a start!

# Maggie is creating a new kit for Dragon Flaire and naming it after me.. so watch this space. Will post when the kit is ready. :D

# Today I just found out that one of my layouts was picked as one of the 3 Layouts of the Day over at One Page At A Time website. I was soooo shocked and really ecstatic! I've never had a layout picked for layout of the day before so this is just a really cool surprise for me.

# Yay! I finally got the Dream Street papers! They're soooo pretty!! :D



Can you say I LOVE Queen & Co???! :D
